Description

  • Provide academic guidance on course navigation, policies, and expectations.
  • Serve as a primary contact for non-academic student questions through voice, text, social media, and video.
  • Identify at-risk learners and provide support to improve short- and long-term academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement student retention initiatives.
  • Contribute to individual, team, and departmental retention goals.
  • Participate in team collaboration, virtual events, and digital workspace activities, including on-camera engagement.
  • Follow applicable education regulations, accreditation requirements, laws, and internal policies.
  • Communicate compliance requirements and escalate concerns to the Compliance department.
  • Participate in student recruitment and financial-aid-related activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, contact center, or hospitality work preferred.
  • Professional fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn required technology.
  • Proficiency in managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Relationship-building, personal accountability, organization, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business tools such as Microsoft Teams preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely from a quiet home office, appear on camera, and connect by hard-wired high-speed internet.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
