Description

  • Serve as the primary Workday Financials administrator and day-to-day support contact for the Finance team.
  • Triage and resolve Workday Financials configuration issues, user requests, and system inquiries.
  • Diagnose and resolve configuration issues across Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Procurement, and Banking & Settlement.
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional design specifications and configuration solutions.
  • Support enhancements, new feature rollouts, and process improvements from requirements gathering through testing and change management.
  • Participate in Workday semi-annual release cycles by reviewing release notes, assessing impact, coordinating UAT, and managing deployment.
  • Maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, business process flows, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Systems on cross-functional initiatives involving Workday HCM, Adaptive Planning, integrations, and third-party systems.
  • Work with Finance leadership on strategic priorities such as process automation, reporting improvements, and scalability initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between Finance and IT to ensure changes are controlled, tested, and minimally disruptive to financial operations.
  • Manage support tickets and project tasks through intake and prioritization processes, communicating status proactively to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials configuration and support experience in a business analyst or functional analyst capacity.
  • Deep working knowledge of one or more Workday Financial Management modules.
  • Ability to configure business processes, validation rules, condition rules, and security independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to support day-to-day Finance operations while contributing to project-based work and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and communicate clearly at all levels.
  • Experience conducting business requirements gathering, gap analysis, and writing functional design documents.
  • Solid understanding of core finance and accounting concepts, including GAAP, month-end close, AP/AR workflows, and expense management.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requests and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative problem-solving approach with a track record of building trusted relationships with Finance business partners.
  • Workday Pro certification in Financial Management is preferred.
  • Experience supporting Workday in a publicly traded company with SOX compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning is preferred.
  • Exposure to Workday Prism Analytics or Workday Reporting, including composite reports, matrix reports, and calculated fields, is preferred.
  • Experience with Coupa, Workiva, Concur, or other Finance-adjacent applications that integrate with Workday is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting a Finance team through a Workday optimization or module expansion project is preferred.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
  • Work visa or immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Benefits

  • Gross pay salary range of $91,700 to $137,500 USD.
  • Salary may vary based on location, experience, and other job-related factors.
