Description

  • Execute a comprehensive technical health audit across Unity’s global web footprint to identify crawling, indexing, and rendering issues.
  • Optimize site architecture and structured data for AI and LLM discoverability so content can be accurately parsed, indexed, and cited.
  • Prioritize technical debt based on business impact and translate audit findings into a strategic SEO roadmap.
  • Analyze the technical characteristics of different platforms, including e-commerce environments and high-volume technical documentation, to deliver tailored recommendations.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to advocate for technical improvements and create actionable development tickets.
  • Ensure Unity’s technical foundation supports maximum visibility for key assets across the web.
  • Balance SEO best practices with the goals of different business units when planning and recommending fixes.

Requirements

  • Expertise in enterprise-level technical SEO with experience managing complex, multi-platform ecosystems with millions of pages.
  • Deep understanding of semantic search and web architecture, including JavaScript SEO and server-side rendering.
  • Knowledge of how different crawl behaviors affect traditional search engines and AI-driven search engines.
  • Proficiency with structured data and Schema.org.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess the business value of technical fixes and prioritize work accordingly.
  • Exceptional communication skills to explain technical SEO and AI visibility to engineering, product, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI-search diagnostic tools or strong curiosity about generative search and discovery (preferred).
  • Background in the developer tools or gaming industry, with an understanding of how technical audiences search for code, tutorials, and assets (preferred).
  • Must have sufficient English language proficiency for frequent professional verbal and written communication with global colleagues and partners.
