Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of the data platform architecture.
  • Translate complex and ambiguous business requirements into resilient data engineering solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define the problem space and propose technical approaches.
  • Own technical solutions through delivery and production deployment.
  • Identify data bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Pitch and deliver architectural improvements to the platform.
  • Influence the data engineering roadmap toward technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with senior software and data engineers on platform problem-solving.
  • Work closely with non-technical stakeholders to turn needs into technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals applied to data engineering.
  • Expertise with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Flink.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team setting.
  • Experience translating needs from non-technical stakeholders into technical requirements for team-wide delivery.
  • Professional verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
