Description

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery across the organization.
  • Contribute to the design and improvement of the data warehouse and lakehouse architecture.
  • Help consolidate fragmented tooling and replace manual processes with automated, repeatable solutions.
  • Support data quality, lineage tracking, and observability across pipelines.
  • Work within CI/CD workflows and contribute to infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform.
  • Partner with Analytics Engineering, Data Science, and Platform Engineering to deliver reliable platform capabilities.
  • Document data workflows, ownership guidelines, and engineering decisions to improve team clarity.
  • Contribute to shared templates, standards, and best practices for pipeline development.
  • Take on increasing ownership of platform components over time as you grow into the role.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as a data or software engineer working with data pipelines, warehousing, or platform infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native data infrastructure and batch or streaming data processing.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills across technical teams.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments where processes and ownership are still being defined.
  • Experience with Kafka or similar streaming technologies is preferred.
  • Exposure to data governance frameworks or data quality tooling is preferred.
  • Background in a B2B SaaS or product-led company is preferred.
  • Familiarity with reverse-ETL, data contracts, or event-driven architectures is preferred.
  • Must be based in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, or the Netherlands.
  • This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
