Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain microservice-based backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and extend modern web application features, including front-end components using Angular and TypeScript.
  • Implement and maintain GraphQL APIs and related integrations.
  • Deploy, operate, and optimize applications on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Write automated tests, perform code reviews, and enforce code quality and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while monitoring and improving system reliability and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with modern web application development technologies (examples: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, GraphQL, microservice architectures).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Direct experience building microservice-based applications in an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency in developing and consuming APIs, including GraphQL.
  • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and participating in code reviews.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Available for a 12+ month contract and able to work remotely.
