Originally named Thurston County Teachers Credit Union, it aimed to provide affordable loans and savings options during the post-Depression era. Over the years, it has expanded its services to residents of Washington and Oregon, currently serving around 90,000 members with a workforce of 325 employees across multiple branches. The credit union offers a range of financial products, including loans and savings accounts, designed to support the financial success of its members. TwinStar is committed to community initiatives, such as providing grants to teachers for classroom supplies and field trips. It operates both physical branches and shared locations to enhance accessibility for its members. In September 2025, TwinStar merged with Northwest Community Credit Union and rebranded as Peak Credit Union, reflecting its commitment to community and belonging.

Description

  • Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, compliance, and internal communications teams on content needs and brand consistency.
  • Create clear, compelling messaging and copy across print, video, email, letters, web, digital ads, social media, and other channels.
  • Support external messaging and campaign strategy with editorial oversight and high-quality written content.
  • Source, develop, and organize content for campaigns and publishing channels.
  • Write and optimize copy for websites, landing pages, banners, blogs, and calls to action.
  • Conduct background research, keyword research, market research, and customer research to inform content decisions.
  • Assess content performance using metrics, user impressions, and keyword search data.
  • Manage copywriting workflows, including proofreading, scheduling, approvals, edits, and launch/removal of collateral.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for freelance copywriters and manage their assignments and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain copywriting guidelines, train team members, and support cross-functional project teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in digital content development, digital marketing, and copywriting.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills across multiple mediums.
  • Experience with engine and conversion-optimized copywriting for websites, landing pages, and banners.
  • Experience developing SEO-optimized blog topics and blog content.
  • Ability to revise copy based on feedback and ensure consistent branding and design.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to write copy for social, print, video, email, and online channels.
  • Experience staying current on editorial trends and competitors.

  • Target annual pay range of $93,456 to $106,200, with a full annual range of $84,960 to $127,440.
