Description

  • Lead country-level voice connectivity plans, including carrier strategy, deal pipeline, negotiation, execution, and ongoing account management.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with global telecom and number-access suppliers.
  • Partner with Product and Sales to shape go-to-market strategies aligned to customer demand, competition, and regulatory requirements.
  • Define supplier selection, contracting, pricing, margins, and commercial strategy across the voice and numbering supply chain.
  • Build and maintain a per-country regulatory and legal knowledge base covering KYC, numbering rules, emergency calling, lawful intercept, GDPR, Ofcom, and FCC requirements.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with local telecom regulations and drive remediation plans when requirements change.
  • Develop and execute carrier-grade voice supply strategies to improve reliability, resilience, and compliance.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize voice KPIs and routing performance, including ASR, ACD, PDD, MOS, latency, and jitter.
  • Optimize cost and quality trade-offs through procurement, negotiation, routing decisions, and performance management.
  • Support customer needs related to numbering, porting, and voice delivery, translating requirements into feasible supply and compliance solutions.
  • Use data analytics to detect anomalies and proactively mitigate fraud, such as CLI spoofing.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Support, Product, Sales, Legal, and Finance to resolve supply chain, quality, compliance, and requirement-change issues.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in voice telecom wholesale, CPaaS, or carrier partnerships.
  • Experience building relationships with new and existing global partners or stakeholders in carrier relations and business development.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive projects forward in ambiguous circumstances.
  • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to balance long-term and short-term goals by evaluating business impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Interest and passion for business development preferred.
  • Role based in the United Kingdom or Ireland.
  • Approximately 10% travel required.
