Description

  • Drive the execution and lifecycle of Twilio’s core APIs, including governance, security, and performance at the edge.
  • Build friction-free onboarding flows, interactive sandboxes, and headless tooling for developers.
  • Shape the agent experience by defining how AI agents and LLMs discover APIs, understand context, and execute workflows safely.
  • Partner with Core Engineering and AI teams to design interfaces and protocols for human developers and AI agents.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and downstream product teams to deliver a consistent, secure, unified gateway experience.
  • Use usage data, API traffic patterns, and intent signals to improve troubleshooting, error handling, and contextual routing.
  • Own tactical execution at the scrum level while balancing reliability requirements with rapid feature delivery.
  • Support Twilio’s Console consolidation and self-service goals, including migration for acquired entities such as Segment.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of product management, technical entrepreneurial, or intensive software project experience.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience consuming or building APIs.
  • Foundational understanding of web applications, headless architectures, and how agents interact with them.
  • Deep understanding of the developer persona, including workflows and toolchains such as Postman, SDKs, and CLI tools.
  • Strong ability to manage tactical execution while balancing high reliability requirements.
  • Proven ability to work at the intersection of business logic and complex technical infrastructure.
  • Recent graduates with a strong computer science background are encouraged to apply.
  • Startup experience or significant side projects building applications with LLM-backed agents are preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI tools such as LangChain, AutoGen, or custom agent workflows is desired.
  • Experience using API traffic data, latency metrics, and error rates to identify friction points and optimize performance is preferred.
