Description

  • Drive net new customer acquisition and generate new revenue for a specific territory while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Work with customers across verticals to understand their business and technical requirements.
  • Design solutions using Twilio’s communications API platform for customer use cases.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support to address customer needs and help customers get started on the Twilio platform.
  • Advise customers on digital communication strategies.
  • Communicate complex technical and financial information in a simple, clear way.
  • Manage multiple projects and deals while balancing competing priorities.
  • Help build new processes and contribute to the team’s playbook.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of sales development or business development experience at a technology company, or 1+ years of closing experience in another industry.
  • Understanding or strong interest in the cloud computing and communications business model.
  • Excitement for selling to a technical audience using a solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with technical solutions selling and working directly with customers to listen and solve problems.
  • High adaptability and comfort trying new things in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Ability to think outside the box and build new processes.
  • Remote role with occasional travel for project or team in-person meetings.
  • Not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, TX, VA, WA, or Washington DC.

  • Competitive pay with location-based hourly ranges from $30.09/hr to $41.80/hr.
