Description

  • Design, configure, and deploy AV systems and equipment for conferencing and meeting spaces.
  • Manage AV infrastructure, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve incidents to keep services running smoothly.
  • Support remote, executive, and in-person events through setup, testing, and live operation of AV equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, event planners, and vendors to define AV requirements and advise on technical options.
  • Assist executives and presenters with AV setup and troubleshooting during industry conferences and high-profile events.
  • Stay current on AV technology trends, tools, and best practices to improve organizational capabilities.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation for employees using AV systems and equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and system optimizations to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Monitor AV performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and recommend solutions to enhance the AV experience.
  • Provide occasional business travel and flexible support outside regular business hours as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Audiovisual Technology, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience using AV and events software such as Zoom and Google Meet.
  • Mac OS proficiency and familiarity with Windows OS for remote troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of conference room signal flow and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard equipment and peripherals such as Crestron, Neat, and Logitech.
  • Experience with AV control systems and software such as Crestron, Extron, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of AV technologies, including audio systems, video conferencing systems, projectors, displays, and lighting.
  • Experience with remote event support and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel approximately 15% for event and executive support.
  • Required certifications include Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP), Extron AV Associate, Event Technology Specialist (ETS), AVIXA CTS-D, AVIXA CTS-I, AVIXA CTS, PMP, ITIL v4 Foundation or similar, and Google Workplace Certification or similar.
  • Certifications for applicable hardware manufacturers such as Shure, Crestron, Chief, QSC, and Biamp.
  • Preferred experience with ServiceNow as a ticketing system.
  • Preferred Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Microsoft equivalent certification.
  • Preferred advanced certification in specific AV technologies as applicable.
