Description

  • Investigate fraud and insider-threat cases by gathering evidence, analyzing data, and reconstructing events.
  • Triage alerts and misconduct, fraud, or insider-activity reports and escalate them appropriately.
  • Analyze logs, transactions, and behavioral signals to identify anomalies and develop case narratives.
  • Document investigations objectively while maintaining evidence handling and chain of custody.
  • Collaborate with Detection & Response, Legal, and HR on sensitive investigations.
  • Contribute to investigation playbooks and identify patterns that inform detection and prevention efforts.
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Manage cases from initial signal through resolution.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in investigations, fraud analysis, security operations, intelligence analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Ability to analyze disparate data sources and draw well-supported conclusions.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and ethical decision-making when handling sensitive matters.
  • Strong written communication skills for clear, objective case documentation.
  • Comfort querying and analyzing logs or transactional data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple cases.
  • Experience with insider threat, fraud detection, or e-discovery/forensics tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, DLP, or UEBA data sources preferred.
  • CFE or similar certification, or a background in law enforcement, intelligence, or forensics preferred.
  • SQL or Python scripting and large-dataset analysis experience preferred.
