Description

  • Drive assigned routes in company vehicles equipped with roof-mounted 360° cameras to capture street, landmark, and public-area imagery.
  • Operate and monitor in-vehicle camera systems and local storage, ensuring images and video are correctly recorded and saved.
  • Follow detailed route assignments that target business districts and historic sites and revisit locations as needed (e.g., due to poor weather) to meet image quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate progress, issues, and data-quality concerns with the project team.
  • Adhere to the project schedule (typically Monday–Friday, ~8 hours/day, 40 hours/week) and be available to work additional hours when required.
  • Ensure vehicle readiness and basic upkeep, provide a parking space for the vehicle, and handle general vehicle-related tasks.
  • Comply with all safety, security, and privacy procedures, including required security/background checks.
  • Perform basic device and computer tasks (smartphone apps, basic computer use) to support data collection workflows.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with at least 1–2 years of driving experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in Germany.
  • Ability to provide parking for a vehicle.
  • Willingness and ability to undergo and pass required security/background checks.
  • Availability for a full-time contract project of at least ~8 months, typically Monday–Friday (~8 hours/day, 40 hours/week) with flexibility to work longer hours.
  • Responsible, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Good driving skills and general automobile knowledge.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with smartphones and common apps.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Enjoys driving and has a flexible schedule.
