Description

  • Drive assigned vehicle along specified routes to capture 360° imagery of streets, commercial districts, and historical sites.
  • Operate and monitor in-vehicle cameras and computers to ensure images are recorded and stored correctly.
  • Follow given routes and schedules, revisiting areas as needed to obtain high-quality imagery (e.g., due to weather conditions).
  • Manage vehicle logistics including parking, basic vehicle readiness, and minor on-the-road troubleshooting.
  • Use a smartphone and basic apps and perform simple computer tasks to verify data collection and communicate with the project team.
  • Maintain accurate records of routes, times, and any issues encountered; report problems or data-quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Work independently during assigned shifts, adhere to safety and local traffic laws, and meet project attendance and time requirements.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 1–2 years driving experience.
  • Must have parking available for a vehicle.
  • Authorization to work in Germany is required.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Availability for Monday–Friday shifts (typically 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week) with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
  • Availability for a minimum commitment (listed as minimum 3 months; project expected to last at least 8 months and cover multiple city/state zones).
  • Enjoys driving and has good knowledge of the local area and traffic trends.
  • Responsible, reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills.
  • General car knowledge and the ability to perform basic vehicle checks.
  • Tech-savvy with smartphone proficiency, basic apps, and basic computer skills.
