Description

  • Operate a company vehicle equipped with roof-mounted 360° cameras to collect imagery of streets, public areas, and landmarks.
  • Follow assigned routes along public roads, focusing on business districts and historical sites, and adhere to daily schedules.
  • Capture and verify image, video, and other sensor data and store it on in-vehicle computers during collection shifts.
  • Revisit assigned areas as needed to obtain better image quality (e.g., due to poor weather or lighting conditions).
  • Ensure safe, lawful driving and compliance with project and local traffic regulations while working in public spaces.
  • Report equipment issues, data quality problems, or route changes to the project team and coordinate solutions.
  • Maintain the vehicle in a ready state for data collection, including ensuring available parking as required by the project.
  • Communicate effectively with project coordinators and colleagues to confirm routes, schedules, and data collection goals.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with 1–2 years of driving experience.
  • Access to a parking space for the vehicle used on the project.
  • Authorization to work in Germany.
  • Ability to pass a required security/background check.
  • Availability for the project schedule (Monday–Friday, typically 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week; option to work more than 8 hours/day).
  • Willingness to work on a project lasting at least 8 months across multiple city/state zones.
  • Responsible, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented work approach.
  • Good driving skills and general automotive knowledge.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using a smartphone and common apps.
  • Good communication skills and a flexible attitude toward scheduling and route assignments.
