Description

  • Drive company vehicles along assigned public routes to capture street-level imagery, focusing on commercial districts and historical sites.
  • Operate and monitor 360° cameras and onboard data-recording systems to collect images, photos, videos, and other sensory data.
  • Ensure image and metadata quality by revisiting locations as needed (e.g., due to poor weather) and adjusting capture procedures.
  • Follow daily schedules and route assignments, working Monday–Friday (~8 hours/day, 40 hours/week) and remaining available for additional hours when required.
  • Perform basic equipment checks, troubleshooting, and general vehicle maintenance to ensure safe and reliable data collection.
  • Store, organize, and secure collected data on in-vehicle computers according to project protocols.
  • Communicate issues, route updates, and collection status to project coordinators and adhere to company/security policies, including background-check requirements.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 1–2 years driving experience.
  • Must have parking available for a vehicle.
  • Authorized to work in Germany.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Availability for at least 3 months (project expected to run a minimum of 8 months across multiple city/state zones).
  • Available to work Monday–Friday, ~8 hours/day (40 hours/week) with flexibility for additional hours.
  • Comfortable driving frequently and familiar with local area and traffic patterns (preferred).
  • Responsible, reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and comfortable using a smartphone and standard apps.
  • General car knowledge and ability to perform basic vehicle/equipment checks.
