Description

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Define and execute the product roadmap in collaboration with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members through regular 1:1s and feedback sessions.
  • Recruit, lead, and grow the engineering team.
  • Guide the team in identifying and solving technical challenges.
  • Ensure the team follows software development best practices.
  • Collaborate with payment processing partners on new workflows and payment options.
  • Work closely with UX, Design, and Experimentation teams to build a seamless front-end web experience.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to production issues.
  • Coordinate with other Engineering Managers to keep the team aligned with company goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience managing others.
  • Strong technical skills and experience in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for building high-quality software products.

Benefits

  • Remote role based in the USA.
  • Base salary range of $180,000 to $225,000 per year.
