Description

  • Produce reports and deliverables accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, including proper tax exemption status.
  • Set up and maintain projects in alignment with contract terms, funding, billing types, and revenue recognition methods.
  • Manage contract modifications and update project configurations as needed.
  • Set up resources and schedules by allocating labor to projects and tasks, maintaining labor categories and bill rates, and monitoring resource utilization.
  • Run the full customer billing cycle, submit accurate invoices, reconcile billed versus funded amounts, and handle light collections.
  • Oversee timekeeping, compliance reporting, and report generation for project administration.
  • Compile documentation and responses for internal and external audit requests.
  • Support additional finance tasks such as accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger accounting, and audit support as assigned.
  • Ensure internal and external deadlines are met, including finalizing customer invoicing within two business days after final calendar month-end time entry.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to coordinate across finance, project management, and operations teams.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent project setups, budget updates, and system configuration requests.
  • Direct administrator-level experience with Unanet GovCon ERP, including project setup, WBS configuration, charge codes, labor categories, cost pools, and user role management, or comparable ERP experience.
  • Working knowledge of DCAA compliance requirements, including timekeeping standards, audit readiness, and incurred cost submissions.
  • Ability to interpret contract award documents such as CLINs, periods of performance, funding ceilings, and contract type, and configure project structure accordingly.
  • Familiarity with FAR Part 31 cost principles, including allowable versus unallowable cost determinations.
  • Understanding of indirect rate structures such as fringe, overhead, and G&A, and how indirect costs are allocated across projects in a GovCon ERP environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, work well in teams, and meet tight deadlines and budgets.
