Description

  • Develop reusable Zero Trust patterns for applications, workloads, cloud environments, and infrastructure.
  • Assess system architectures, workload interactions, service dependencies, security controls, and implementation constraints.
  • Define requirements for policy enforcement, secure service communication, secrets management, and workload identity.
  • Support engineering plans, deployment sequencing, pilots, testing, validation, and operational readiness assessments.
  • Document implementation variants for cloud, hybrid, legacy, and mission-critical environments.
  • Identify architectural deviations and lessons learned to improve future enterprise patterns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of application, cloud, infrastructure, platform, or systems architecture experience.
  • Experience with enterprise application architectures, virtualization, containers, cloud platforms, APIs, and legacy integration.
  • Working knowledge of Zero Trust application and workload security principles.
  • Strong systems thinking, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, API gateways, service mesh, or modern application security controls preferred.
  • Experience supporting large Federal application portfolios preferred.
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems within security and availability constraints preferred.
  • Preferred certifications include CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, or Security+.
