Description

  • Edit long-form videos into multiple 15–60 second short-form clips optimized for social media platforms.
  • Identify the most engaging moments and hooks from longer content.
  • Add captions, subtitles, emojis, and motion graphics to increase engagement.
  • Use jump cuts, zooms, sound effects, and pacing techniques to improve viewer retention.
  • Format videos for vertical 9:16 viewing across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Follow trends and adapt editing style to current viral content formats.
  • Collaborate with the team to align edits with brand voice and messaging.
  • Deliver high-quality videos on time with quick turnaround.

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing short-form content for Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts.
  • Strong storytelling and pacing skills for short-form video editing.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools.
  • Experience adding captions and designing engaging on-screen text.
  • Understanding of social media trends and algorithms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience repurposing podcasts, webinars, or interviews into short clips (nice to have).
  • Basic motion graphics and animation skills (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with AI editing tools or auto-captioning tools (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of content strategy or viral content frameworks (nice to have).
