Description

  • Review smart contracts, off-chain components, and blockchain infrastructure for security vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with blockchain teams to provide strategic security advice and improve project maturity.
  • Use manual analysis and automated tools to assess blockchain application security.
  • Contribute to existing blockchain security tools and help integrate automated analysis capabilities.
  • Develop custom rules and support tool development using modern software engineering practices.
  • Design and implement solutions for vulnerabilities in smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and cross-chain asset transfer validation.
  • Identify architectural risks and security issues in client implementations.
  • Build knowledge of Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain systems, including rollups, bridges, and consensus protocols.
  • Stay current on emerging blockchain architectures, threats, and security practices.
  • Share expertise through contributions to the broader security and blockchain community.

Requirements

  • Experience with Solidity security and understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
  • Familiarity with common smart contract vulnerabilities, including reentrancy attacks and DeFi security patterns.
  • Proficiency in at least one systems programming language such as Go, Rust, or C++.
  • Understanding of blockchain development frameworks, node operations, RPC interfaces, or consensus protocol implementations.
  • Knowledge of Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain architectures, including optimistic and ZK rollups, state channels, or sidechains.
  • Basic familiarity with consensus mechanisms such as Proof of Stake, PBFT, or Tendermint, and blockchain finality concepts.
  • Interest in reviewing blockchain infrastructure such as validator nodes, bridge contracts, oracle integrations, or cross-chain communication protocols.
  • Experience with security analysis, vulnerability assessment, or penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with automated security tools, fuzzing techniques, or static analysis methodologies applied to blockchain systems.
  • Knowledge of other blockchain ecosystems such as Move, Solana, Cosmos, or TON is a plus.
