Description

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain frontend and backend applications, microservices, and user-facing features.
  • Build AI agents, MCP-based tooling, LLM-powered insights, chat interfaces, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Own features throughout the product lifecycle, from design and coding through maintenance.
  • Debug, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate software for reliability, usability, and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and other cross-functional teams on product and architecture decisions.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering best practices.
  • Improve development processes, tools, and techniques across the team.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate appropriate solutions into projects.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for two weeks every two months.
  • Assess user and downstream-team impact through usability checks and feedback.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience developing web applications, preferably B2B single-page applications.
  • Proficiency with backend languages and MVC frameworks; PHP 7/CakePHP and Node.js/Sails.js are a plus.
  • Strong modern JavaScript/TypeScript skills and experience with Vue.js, Angular, React, Svelte, or another major framework.
  • Familiarity with CSS frameworks or preprocessors such as Tailwind and SASS.
  • Experience integrating APIs and implementing REST or GraphQL services and OAuth 2.0 authentication flows.
  • Experience configuring databases and writing complex queries with MySQL and PostgreSQL, plus query builders or ORMs such as Sequelize or Knex.
  • Experience collaborating with design teams and implementing design systems or component libraries.
  • Working knowledge of Python and experience with AI-assisted engineering, agents, or LLM-powered features with testing and evaluation discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven record of mentorship.
  • Preferred: experience with observability tools, scalable systems, component libraries, rapid prototyping, microservices, large datasets, queues, event-driven systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
