Description

  • Execute full software development lifecycle activities using Python and C++ in a Linux environment.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and monitor scalable cloud-based simulation services on AWS.
  • Develop and provision cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Produce software design and architecture documentation, algorithm development, and implementation.
  • Deliver high-quality software through established build, deployment, testing, and safety processes.
  • Support vehicle testing, simulation workflows, and deployed-software maintenance across autonomy and perception use cases.
  • Investigate issues and perform root cause analysis across simulation runs, testing workflows, and automation pipelines.
  • Automate CI/CD, simulation execution workflows, data handling pipelines, and containerization improvements.
  • Maintain automated testing using simulation scenarios and test frameworks to prevent regressions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems and operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree in one of those fields with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience designing managed cloud services, preferably on AWS.
  • Strong proficiency in Python with solid software engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Bash, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
  • Strong background in CI/CD, testing, infrastructure as code, containerization, and version control.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or simulation systems is preferred.
  • Experience with C++ in production environments is preferred.
  • Experience with Bazel build systems, ROS, or robotics algorithms is preferred.
