Description

  • Record hands-on, manipulation-intensive household tasks in a variety of residential environments.
  • Capture common activities such as room tidy-up, dishes cleanup, laundry, and home mapping.
  • Produce high-quality egocentric video footage of everyday chores from a first-person perspective.
  • Follow strict data capture guidelines and task specifications exactly.
  • Ensure recordings reflect real, intentional tasks without unnecessary pauses or contrived movements.
  • Contribute geographically and task-diverse examples for the dataset.
  • Upload captured data through the designated workflow and application.

Requirements

  • Own or have access to a smartphone or camera device capable of at least 30 FPS and 1080p resolution.
  • Mount the device at forehead or eye level for an egocentric perspective with a downward angle that keeps hands visible.
  • Use the designated D&A application for all data capture and upload.
  • Provide video footage that is clear, stable, and well-lit.
  • Ensure each video is at least 15 seconds long.
  • Capture useful, intentional tasks rather than staged or unnatural movements.
