Description

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and formulate requirements for enterprise BI and dashboard initiatives.
  • Analyze business requirements and develop conceptual models and data flow processes.
  • Communicate data architecture and solution approach to development teams.
  • Conduct design reviews, including wireframing and prototyping, to ensure business needs are met.
  • Build and support dashboards using business intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and cross-functional partners to support business processes and system solutions.
  • Manage client issue escalations and drive systemic improvements.
  • Work with offshore teams to develop and deliver BI dashboards and reports.
  • Lead validation efforts to ensure data quality.
  • Identify and execute risk mitigation and compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in a BI Manager, Product Owner, or related role delivering BI/reporting projects in an enterprise or consulting environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Quicksight and AWS is required.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Tableau is highly desired.
  • Experience with data warehouse ETL processes.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems such as Hadoop HDFS and Hive is a plus.
  • Experience with dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience or familiarity with the retail and eCommerce industry is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
