Description

  • Build large-scale ETL and ELT pipelines within the GCP ecosystem.
  • Design and develop analytical architectures for cloud-based data platforms.
  • Assess, plan, and drive enterprise migration programs across data, applications, and cloud platforms.
  • Help clients modernize legacy systems and transition to scalable cloud-native architectures.
  • Optimize query performance and improve data processing workflows on cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate on technology modernization efforts aligned with business goals.
  • Own individual workstreams with a high degree of responsibility in a small consulting environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including at least 3+ years working extensively on GCP.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, and/or Java/Scala for data processing and scripting.
  • Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow/Apache Beam, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and Cloud Functions.
  • Experience building large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and optimizing query performance on cloud platforms.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, partitioning, and schema design for analytical workloads.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices, Terraform, and version control tools such as Git.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
