Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and help ensure teams deliver successfully.
  • Collaborate and negotiate with clients to bring technical vision to life.
  • Champion clean, reusable code practices such as TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
  • Oversee the full software consulting and delivery lifecycle from ideation through production evolution.
  • Use continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software and value early to end customers.
  • Design solutions and select technologies that solve client problems within constraints and tradeoffs.
  • Collaborate with teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes while embedding UX best practices.
  • Apply Thoughtworks Technology Radar guidance to solve client problems with modern technology thinking.
  • Continue coding alongside developers and contribute using a variety of languages and tools.
  • Champion DevSecOps tools and practices, including shifting security left in development.
  • Coach, mentor, and foster growth within the team while building an inclusive and supportive culture.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java.
  • Experience with modern frameworks and languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js.
  • Knowledge of latest object-oriented technologies.
  • Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous delivery approaches.
  • Knowledge of delivery practices such as TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
  • Bonus knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience influencing others while advocating for technical excellence and adapting to change.
  • Ability to translate business needs into software requirements.
  • Ability to develop and execute a technical vision focused on business value.
  • Experience mentoring less experienced peers and inspiring teams to deliver strong impact.
  • Resilience in ambiguous situations and ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
