Description

  • Design and deliver a comprehensive test strategy for an industry-leading SaaS application.
  • Create and maintain test plans aligned with activities across distributed development teams.
  • Collaborate with Product and Development teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans.
  • Maintain existing tests and write manual and automated tests during feature development.
  • Test and validate software to ensure requirements are met and defects are identified.
  • Analyze test failures, investigate root causes, and open tickets with clear findings.
  • Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline to improve release speed.
  • Manually test application components when automation is not a good fit.
  • Recommend improvements to current testing processes and practices.
  • Mentor team members on testing strategies and automation design patterns.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of experience in an Agile, highly collaborative, team-based environment.
  • 5 or more years of experience developing API and UI test automation projects.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Expertise with object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
  • Strong understanding of web and browser technologies.
  • Strong understanding of software development languages such as C#, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks such as Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Experience working with Selenium for test automation.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding team members in testing or automation practices.
