Description

  • Measure and improve algorithmic execution quality across asset classes.
  • Conduct research on market-related topics and asset classes to inform trading improvements.
  • Create reports and present findings across teams.
  • Write high-quality production-level code for trading applications and data workflows.
  • Design and develop new packages, data pipelines, and production trading applications.
  • Collaborate with trading and research and development team members to improve trading strategies.
  • Provide market microstructure expertise across asset classes to trading and research teams.
  • Manage relationships with external brokers and trading partners.
  • Support improvements in securities lending and portfolio financing processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a quantitative trading environment with an emphasis on quantitative research.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or quantitative discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
  • Ability to write production-level code and develop across teams.
  • Proficient in basic statistics and applying valid statistical methods to real-world data.
  • Comprehensive understanding of market microstructure and a passion for markets.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and present research findings clearly and concisely.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $130,000 to $160,000.
  • Bonus compensation may be available in addition to base salary.
