Description

  • Serve as a key contact for commercial, tax, and business law questions across the group.
  • Handle complex national and international tax issues independently and develop practical solutions.
  • Own ongoing tax calculations, deferred tax calculations, and tax returns for entities and corporations.
  • Support tax audits and lead tax structuring projects, transactions, and tax opinions.
  • Determine the effective tax rate and analyze tax impacts on business steering.
  • Continuously develop tax compliance and tax reporting processes and ensure declaration and documentation obligations are met.
  • Support acquisitions and business development from a tax perspective.
  • Collaborate closely with tax advisory, audit, legal, and consulting teams to develop integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, law, or a comparable qualification with a tax focus.
  • Successfully completed the tax advisor exam.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in tax, ideally in an international company or in tax advisory/audit.
  • Strong knowledge of German and international tax law, tax balance sheet accounting, deferred taxes, and tax return preparation for partnerships and corporations.
  • Ideally experience with tax audits, tax structuring projects, or M&A transactions.
  • Structured and independent working style with strong judgment in complex matters.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax topics appropriately for different audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in shaping processes and structures in a growing company.
  • Fluent German and very good English, written and spoken.
