Description

  • Support the Growth team’s end-to-end experimentation process.
  • Code, analyze, and contribute across Growth workstreams.
  • Peer-review Growth code and assist with code reviews for experiments.
  • Assist with experiment launches in Google Firebase.
  • Debug code and collaborate closely with the Product Development team.
  • Help QA new features before release.
  • Peer-review experiment analysis.
  • Own the translation of winning experiments across languages and platforms from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development and Data Science teams.
  • Learn and develop growth product management and product management skills.

Requirements

  • Background in software engineering.
  • Strong confidence in JSON and Java or JavaScript.
  • SQL experience is a plus.
  • Comfort with statistical significance and common statistical biases.
  • Understanding of the basics of experimental design.
  • Passion for growth, metrics, and user experience.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset.
  • Passion for learning and interest in behavioral science is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, a technical major, or related work experience is ideal.
  • Experience designing and running A/B or RCT trials is preferred.
  • Background in data science is a bonus.
  • Background or interest in machine learning is a bonus.
