Description

  • Support day-to-day IT operations and maintain internal systems that are stable, secure, documented, and up to date.
  • Administer core business systems and internal tools, including software rollouts, updates, testing, and team enablement.
  • Manage Google Workspace users, groups, organizational units, shared drives, calendar access, retention, DLP policies, and phishing/spam quarantine settings.
  • Support Windows Server environments, including administration, troubleshooting, usage monitoring, session management, and resource assignments.
  • Assist with endpoint support for Windows and macOS users, including local and remote application troubleshooting and remote connectivity issues.
  • Monitor backups, validate recovery readiness, support antivirus deployment, and help maintain disaster recovery documentation.
  • Support cybersecurity tool administration, incident response, remediation, training rollouts, and monthly testing/staggered deployments.
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot business-critical applications such as Lacerte, QuickBooks Desktop, W2/1099 software, 8x8, Adobe Acrobat DC, and related tools.
  • Prepare new team member accounts, devices, access, printers, and application settings, and complete offboarding by disabling access and coordinating records.
  • Maintain IT documentation, equipment registers, ticketing workflows, reporting, escalation processes, and RPA connectivity/support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant IT support, systems administration, or technical operations experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments, ideally including Windows Server 2019 and 2022.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across remote access, endpoint, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Familiarity with both Windows and macOS support.
  • Basic networking knowledge for remote team member setup and issue resolution.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and pay close attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and comfort working independently in a remote support environment.
  • Preferred exposure to Windows Server 2025, basic scripting, Malwarebytes, Cove / N-able Backup, Ubiquiti Console, Twingate, ActivTrak, Bitwarden, 8x8, accounting or audit software environments, and support for professional services, accounting, or tax teams.
