Description

  • Develop new accounts and expand existing account relationships across the assigned territory.
  • Meet and exceed the assigned gross profit quota of $1.1M+.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline through account and territory planning.
  • Close deals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Work with consulting teams to close complex security opportunities at the C-level.
  • Partner with vendor representatives to identify and close software and hardware opportunities.
  • Sell multiple solutions to customers throughout the year.
  • Stay ahead of customer budget cycles by executing proactive sales plans.
  • Represent the company in customer conversations and communicate its story and value proposition.
  • Leverage internal resources to create value for clients and support sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in security consulting or technology sales.
  • Consistent over-quota achievement.
  • Experience in direct selling with a strong hunter mentality.
  • Working knowledge of IT and networking.
  • Working knowledge of the channel sales model.
  • Formal sales training such as Miller-Heiman, Sandler, or Solution Selling, with proven proficiency applying those methods.
  • Knowledge of security industry disciplines including Regulatory Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, and Penetration Testing.
  • Knowledge of security vendors and solutions across Security Operations, Governance/Risk/Compliance, and Advanced Threat/Behavioral Analysis/Next Gen endpoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across business and technical boundaries.
  • Ability to work independently without detailed guidance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field from a competitive 4-year university.
  • Strong business acumen, professionalism, customer focus, attention to detail, and self-starter qualities.
  • Relationship-focused, well-networked, personable, presentable, punctual, and strong in written and spoken communication.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States required.
