Description

  • Install Tenna product trackers on mid-sized vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Test trackers and equipment after installation to confirm performance and specification compliance.
  • Inspect equipment for fault tolerance and identify required repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with Tenna equipment and systems.
  • Train customers on hardware installation best practices and proper use of Tenna products.
  • Ensure installations follow Tenna policies and procedures.
  • Maintain working knowledge of the Tenna Asset Management System and related products.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to support customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Respond promptly to phone and email inquiries related to installations and management questions.
  • Document daily work, process expenses, and complete timekeeping accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic or heavy-duty equipment mechanic.
  • 3+ years of experience performing skilled automotive work, including inspections, diagnosis, and maintenance on special equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Electrical experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Diligence and organization in managing information.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and service-oriented with a strong "do what it takes" attitude.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stooping, climbing, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Word.
  • Ability to write comprehensive daily notes.
  • Willingness to work in construction site environments and outdoor conditions, including temperature extremes.
  • Frequent travel required, with travel comprising 95% of the role.
