Description

  • Lead discipline-specific design, coordination, and documentation efforts for complex multi-discipline projects.
  • Serve as project lead on selected projects, managing scope alignment, profitability, and project health.
  • Provide technical leadership, design reviews, QA/QC, and clear engineering judgment to improve project outcomes.
  • Document client-specific processes, deviations, meeting notes, design decisions, and scope clarifications in project tools and the Design Decision Log.
  • Mentor engineers, designers, and production team members through coaching, feedback, markups, and design discussions.
  • Collaborate with Group Leads, Team Leads, Project Leads, and cross-discipline teammates to resolve coordination issues and maintain standards.
  • Support client relationships through meetings, business reviews, pursuits, interviews, and technical advisory support.
  • Contribute to discipline standards, templates, workflows, and documentation through Pull Requests and lessons learned.
  • Participate in workload forecasting, resource planning, and annual business planning to support delivery predictability.
  • Support site visits, field verifications, proposal development, and other project or client needs as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services with discipline-specific expertise in ICT, Audiovisual, AV, or Acoustics.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering coordinated, high-quality designs and making sound discipline-level decisions.
  • Ability to lead portions of complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal oversight.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and coordination requirements.
  • Experience contributing to documentation updates, design standards, and QA/QC workflows through GitHub or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • CTS-D certification preferred for audiovisual work.
  • EIT, PE, CDT, and PMP certifications are preferred or beneficial.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
