Description

  • Prepare and update Revit models, drawings, sheets, markups, and supporting documentation under engineering direction.
  • Support coordinated project delivery by implementing redlines, design updates, and guidance from senior engineers and production staff.
  • Take meeting notes, maintain task tracking, and keep project tools, notes, and documentation current and organized.
  • Participate in project meetings, coordination sessions, daily huddles, and BIM discussions to build coordination awareness.
  • Assist with reports, calculations, narratives, diagrams, and other internal or client deliverables as assigned.
  • Support site visits and existing conditions verification alongside senior team members when needed.
  • Review models and drawings from other disciplines and participate in basic clash detection or coordination reviews under guidance.
  • Assist with research, product evaluations, specification support, and updates to production templates, tools, or workflows.
  • Apply TEECOM standards, templates, file naming, view template, workset, and linking processes consistently.
  • Complete assigned work on schedule, communicate risks or delays early, and maintain accurate time and expense entries.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience in design, drafting, or technology systems.
  • 0–2 years of experience in the AEC industry, design or technology systems, technology systems contracting, or related professional/academic environments.
  • Exposure to Revit, AutoCAD, or other drafting/modeling tools; familiarity with construction documents or the building design process preferred.
  • Exposure to BIM coordination concepts such as model linking, worksets, and clash identification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Navisworks and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to learn new software, follow workflows, and apply feedback to improve accuracy and clarity.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to track tasks, take clear notes, and collaborate effectively.
  • Foundational understanding of technology systems such as Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, or Wi-Fi is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, and Slack; willingness to learn Autodesk tools, Asana, Bluebeam Studio, Callback One, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications such as EIT, CDT, or introductory Revit/BIM/drafting certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
