Description

  • Own discipline-specific deliverables and ensure they are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project expectations.
  • Design systems and prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and coordinated deliverables.
  • Lead small projects and support senior engineers and Project Leads on larger projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, manufacturers, and design partners through meetings and discussions.
  • Document design decisions, assumptions, risks, and next steps in project tools and logs.
  • Support programming sessions, site walks, surveys, and construction-phase coordination.
  • Prepare discipline inputs, early fee assumptions, and proposal materials for pursuits.
  • Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, daily huddles, and project planning discussions.
  • Improve documentation practices, workflows, and shared standards through feedback and updates.
  • Provide informal support to Designers and early-career team members on markups and documentation habits.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
  • BS in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent technical or field experience.
  • Electrical engineering degree preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and coordinated modeling across multiple projects.
  • Experience with construction documentation and coordination processes or field-related activities.
  • Preferred experience with Telecom/ICT, Structured Cabling, or Low Voltage system design.
  • Preferred experience with calculations, device layouts, and specification development.
  • Preferred experience leading BIM coordination, including clash detection, model review, and cross-discipline resolution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications preferred but not required: EIT, CDT, RCDD (Telecom), or PE.
  • Ability to manage workloads across several projects and communicate clearly with project teams.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
