Description

  • Lead day-to-day project management for a complex digital product engagement, with clear priorities, timelines, deliverables, and accountability.
  • Coordinate a multi-agency team across AKQA disciplines and external partners to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  • Manage schedules, milestones, and dependencies, and proactively identify and resolve delivery risks.
  • Oversee scope management and change control with discipline leads to assess impact and maintain alignment on approved work.
  • Support resourcing coordination to ensure the right people are engaged at the right time across the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate project ceremonies and working sessions to keep teams aligned and focused on outcomes.
  • Maintain project documentation such as status reports, decision logs, and meeting notes.
  • Partner with the client to manage expectations, communicate progress, and navigate complexity.
  • Ensure delivery processes align with agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices and team ways of working.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience within a digital agency or product delivery environment.
  • Strong emphasis on digital products and services experience.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream engagements with overlapping timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder groups.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong instincts for anticipating issues before they escalate.
  • Clear, confident communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Slack for project management, documentation, and collaboration.
  • Collaborative and solutions-oriented, with a team-first approach and commitment to quality delivery.
  • Must work remote during Eastern Time Zone working hours.
  • Availability for the contract period from July 21, 2026 through November 25, 2026, at 40 hours per week.
