Description

  • Own discipline-specific deliverables and produce coordinated designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Support the delivery of larger projects under the mentorship of senior engineers and Project Leads.
  • Lead small projects and manage defined scope with increasing independence and judgment.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, manufacturers, and design partners to maintain alignment and resolve issues.
  • Participate in project meetings, programming sessions, coordination discussions, and construction support.
  • Prepare early fee assumptions, discipline scope input, and proposal support for pursuits.
  • Maintain organized documentation and update tools such as GitHub, Design Decision Logs, Asana, and Callback One.
  • Identify workflow or coordination gaps and contribute practical improvements to team processes and standards.
  • Support design reviews, site walks, surveys, and construction-phase coordination as needed.
  • Provide informal support to Designers and early-career team members by clarifying markups and expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent technical or field experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, coordinated modeling, and construction documentation across multiple projects.
  • Experience with coordination processes or field-related activities.
  • Preferred experience delivering technology system designs in ICT, Security, Physical Security, or Electronic Security.
  • Preferred experience supporting engineering tasks such as calculations, device layouts, and specification development.
  • Preferred experience leading BIM coordination, including clash detection, model review, and cross-discipline resolution.
  • Ability to maintain model health at a senior production level, including workset management, view template application, warning resolution, and model cleanup.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with familiarity in Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications preferred but not required, including EIT, CDT, PSP/CPP (Security), and PE.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
