Description

  • Build and maintain long-term client and design-team relationships while documenting key discussions and contact information.
  • Manage project communications, schedules, deliverables, and project-related data such as fees, scope, budgets, workload, and decisions.
  • Schedule and participate in client, construction, and design team meetings to gather and share technology requirements.
  • Track and coordinate technology design work to ensure project requirements, budgets, and deadlines are met.
  • Develop project plans and resource assignments, and perform resource balancing across multiple projects.
  • Generate, route, file, and distribute project documentation, including meeting notes, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain project filing systems and perform QA/QC on project documentation and deliverables.
  • Use project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, and Asana to track work and prepare schedules.
  • Provide weekly project status updates and support financial reconciliation, billing accuracy, and revenue targets.
  • Mentor less senior staff and contribute to process improvement, lessons learned, and internal documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in discipline design for facilities construction projects in telecom, security, audiovisual, acoustics, Wi‑Fi, or network.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with project management software.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a consulting role.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft Office 365, G Suite, and Asana.
  • Knowledge of the AEC industry and the design/construction of technology systems.
  • Experience delivering system designs using an engineering approach and producing coordinated construction documents.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Industry certifications such as RCDD, CPP, CDT, CTS-D, or PSP are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fully remote environment with occasional travel to client sites and construction areas.
