Description

  • Lead small- to mid-scale, multi-discipline telecom/ICT projects from programming through closeout.
  • Deliver coordinated discipline designs, including layouts, calculations, specifications, and supporting documentation.
  • Clarify requirements, coordinate design decisions, and keep scope, schedule, and budget aligned.
  • Identify and surface project risks early, including discipline conflicts and coordination issues.
  • Review and provide feedback on Designers’ and engineers’ work to improve accuracy and documentation quality.
  • Maintain disciplined project documentation in GitHub, Asana, and shared project tools.
  • Contribute to TEECOM’s standards, workflows, and tools through Pull Requests and documented lessons learned.
  • Support client communication by documenting decisions, clarifying requirements, and maintaining alignment with design partners.
  • Mentor Designers and engineers through hands-on guidance, markups, and structured feedback.
  • Support pursuits, interviews, and technical content development such as scope input, fee assumptions, blogs, white papers, or presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services.
  • Experience in Telecom/ICT, structured cabling, or low voltage disciplines.
  • Preferred experience leading discipline portions of mid- to large-size projects.
  • Preferred experience supporting coordination and providing guidance to Designers or engineers.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and cross-discipline coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, well-coordinated designs and make sound discipline decisions.
  • Experience contributing to documentation updates, standards refinement, or QA/QC workflows through GitHub Pull Requests or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • Preferred industry certifications include RCDD, CDT, CCNA, EIT, PE, and PMP.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
