Description

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs and projects from initiation through production release and stabilization.
  • Coordinate across Engineering, Product, Design, Data, DevOps, Security, and Business Operations to align priorities and remove blockers.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve project delivery processes, workflows, and ceremonies tailored to the technical environment.
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts including charters, plans, schedules, RACI matrices, risk registers, dashboards, and decision logs.
  • Establish governance structures such as steering committees, technical review checkpoints, change control processes, and escalation paths.
  • Partner with engineering and product leadership to align technical roadmaps with business priorities and facilitate trade-off discussions.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies and drive mitigation and resolution across workstreams.
  • Own project financials, including budgets, actuals, forecasts, and variance reporting to leadership.
  • Facilitate requirements clarification, technical scoping, and estimation sessions with engineering and product teams.
  • Drive cross-team release planning, sprint reviews, and PI planning in agile and scaled agile environments.
  • Define delivery metrics and reporting frameworks to provide leadership with visibility into portfolio performance.
  • Lead change management and communication planning for technically complex initiatives.
  • Prepare and present executive status updates, programme reviews, and decision packages for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project or program management experience focused on technical or technology-led initiatives.
  • Experience working across cross-functional technical teams such as IT, Product, Design, Data, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security.
  • Proven ability to design and implement delivery processes and workflows in scratch-built or under-defined environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including CI/CD pipelines, sprint-based delivery, release trains, and environment management.
  • Hands-on experience with agile and hybrid delivery frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or equivalent.
  • Strong command of project management disciplines including scope, scheduling, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, budget oversight, resource planning, and executive reporting.
  • Experience with project and engineering tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Linear, or Notion.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills for workshops, technical planning sessions, and executive presentations.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification, or demonstrated equivalent applied experience.
  • High degree of autonomy and comfort operating in ambiguous environments with minimal structural support.
  • Preferred: Experience delivering multiple technical domains simultaneously, such as platform, data, and product workstreams.
  • Preferred: Background in cloud migration or cloud-native delivery using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Preferred: Exposure to data and analytics program delivery, including data platforms, pipelines, BI/reporting, and data governance.
  • Preferred: Experience with API-led integration programs across internal systems, third-party platforms, and distributed architectures.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with technical architecture review processes and delivery implications of architectural decisions.
  • Preferred: Background in regulated environments such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR.
  • Preferred: Experience deploying AI, machine learning, or data science capabilities in production.
  • Preferred: Prior experience as a software engineer, technical business analyst, or solutions architect.
