Description

  • Lead small- to mid-scale, multi-discipline projects with growing independence from programming through closeout.
  • Clarify requirements, coordinate design, document decisions, and ensure deliverables meet TEECOM standards for quality and constructability.
  • Maintain alignment with scope, schedule, and budget while identifying and surfacing project risks early.
  • Lead technical design reviews and participate in project and discipline meetings to reinforce coordination and delivery clarity.
  • Mentor Designers and engineers through hands-on guidance, markups, reviews, and feedback that strengthen technical capability and documentation habits.
  • Contribute to TEECOM’s standards, tools, workflows, and documentation through GitHub Pull Requests, lessons learned, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Project Leads, Group Leads, and senior engineers on coordination strategy, scope sequencing, and delivery reliability.
  • Support pursuits by contributing scope input, fee assumptions, technical narratives, and interview participation as needed.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through clear communication, reliable follow-through, networking, and thoughtful problem-solving.
  • Document decisions, assumptions, and client-specific nuances across project tools to support consistent delivery and transparency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services with discipline-specific capability in ICT, Audiovisual, AV, or Acoustics.
  • Experience leading discipline portions of mid- to large-size projects, supporting coordination, and guiding Designers or engineers is preferred.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate, well-coordinated designs and make sound discipline-specific decisions.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and cross-discipline coordination requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to documentation updates, standards refinement, or QA/QC workflows through GitHub Pull Requests or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications are preferred, including CTS-D, CDT, EIT, PE, and PMP.
  • Ability to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites for meetings, surveys, inspections, or site walks.
