Description

  • Lead a team of managers and associates within the East Branch Operations function.
  • Implement the organization’s strategic goals and objectives in the assigned geographic area.
  • Build cross-team collaboration to support operational delivery and organizational priorities.
  • Ensure the safe, efficient, and impactful delivery of Team Rubicon services.
  • Develop team performance goals and objectives and mentor direct reports on performance management.
  • Assist with planning and budgeting aligned to training, engagement, and operational tempo.
  • Oversee purchasing and expenses in accordance with the national budget.
  • Oversee recruitment, engagement, and training of Greyshirts and Greyshirt leaders.
  • Provide EOC support and disaster response coordination with relevant agencies as needed.
  • Maintain rapport and influence with external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of relevant professional experience in the military, disaster response, emergency management, or first responder fields.
  • Proven personnel management experience, including recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers.
  • Proficiency with technology tools and remote work for communicating and coordinating across large networks.
  • Successful past performance in leading volunteers is highly desired.
  • Full-time remote availability based in IL, WI, MI, IN, OH, KY, TN, NC, SC, VA, FL, GA, LA, or TX major metro areas.
  • Ability to work a flexible, non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally as needed.
  • Willingness to travel at least 25% non-locally within the assigned territory.
