Description

  • Test developed web applications against specified requirements across multiple desktop browsers and mobile devices.
  • Write, program, and run automated tests and regression suites.
  • Accurately record, track, and monitor issues raised during testing.
  • Create and maintain test documentation as required.
  • Work with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Monitor test progress against release dates and plans, prioritising workloads accordingly.
  • Review test environments and processes to support continuous improvement and quality standards.
  • Assist in providing estimates for testing work.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of QA experience, including testing web-based applications.
  • Experience with cross-browser functional testing.
  • Strong familiarity with bug tracking and reporting applications.
  • Experience writing test cases.
  • Working knowledge of test automation, ideally using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Previous experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of BDD (Behaviour Driven Development).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience working within an Agile team (desirable).
  • Ability to work on both PC and Mac (desirable).
  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (desirable).
  • Degree-level educational qualification (desirable).
