Description

  • Lead complex cloud security investigations and remediation efforts across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Validate security outcomes and adjust remediation recommendations to ensure safe, practical outcomes.
  • Develop remediation guidance and security content for scenarios not yet covered by AI.
  • Own customer accounts end-to-end through the remediation process.
  • Support and lead customer escalations, including technical meetings and review discussions.
  • Communicate remediation progress and decisions clearly to both technical stakeholders and executives.
  • Serve as the technical bar-raiser for the Remediation Research team.
  • Mentor investigators and help shape investigation workflows, triage processes, and remediation standards.
  • Allocate work effectively and drive consistent, high-quality output.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to improve remediation logic, edge-case handling, and automation approaches.

Requirements

  • Practitioner-level experience in cloud security, remediation, SOC, incident response, DevSecOps, or detection engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven ability to investigate cloud security issues and drive remediation end-to-end.
  • Background in vulnerability management and cloud misconfigurations.
  • Ability to explain security risk and remediation clearly.
  • Comfort owning customer relationships and leading technical discussions.
  • Confident, concise communication skills, especially under pressure.
  • Ability to switch between non-technical explanations and deep technical detail.
  • Strong investigation mindset and comfort working through ambiguous problems.
  • Preferred experience with CSPM/CNAPP tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Orca, CrowdStrike, or Lacework.
  • Preferred experience across multiple cloud providers.
  • Preferred Kubernetes or container security experience.
  • Preferred infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Preferred Python or scripting experience for automation and investigation.
  • Preferred experience building security governance across large cloud estates.
