Description

  • Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure to support scalable, efficient deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical requirements into automated solutions.
  • Automate development, testing, and release processes to enable CI/CD.
  • Test and analyze developer code and provide optimization feedback.
  • Implement cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and compliance best practices.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and develop software updates and fixes.
  • Manage infrastructure projects and operational processes to improve performance and availability.
  • Design and test automation tools for provisioning, monitoring, and scaling infrastructure.
  • Handle code deployments across multiple environments with minimal downtime and maximum stability.
  • Monitor performance metrics, diagnose bottlenecks, and drive system optimization.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6-8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or IT operations.
  • Extensive experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their DevOps services.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Advanced scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, threat detection, and incident response strategies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps principles (preferred).
