Description

  • Apply AI and agentic tooling to DevOps and infrastructure work, including remediation, anomaly detection, capacity and cost optimization, and incident response.
  • Apply AI to security operations, including log triage, compliance evidence collection, vulnerability prioritization, and threat detection.
  • Set guardrails for safe AI adoption in a regulated environment, including data handling, auditability, and model/tool vetting.
  • Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS-native infrastructure.
  • Drive CI/CD maturity, infrastructure-as-code practices, and consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Own observability, including logging, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and MTTR reduction.
  • Manage on-call rotations, runbooks, and incident response during production issues.
  • Own the company’s security posture, compliance readiness, vendor security reviews, and security awareness training.
  • Manage corporate IT operations, including onboarding/offboarding, endpoint management, identity access, device security, helpdesk support, procurement, and SaaS management.
  • Build and lead a small team as needed, partner cross-functionally with engineering and product, and report operational KPIs to leadership and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership role.
  • 2+ years managing people or leading cross-functional initiatives, ideally.
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS, including IAM, networking, serverless, and container services.
  • Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tooling.
  • Experience operating in a regulated or high-stakes environment such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a strong plus.
  • Strong builder’s mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Excellent judgment under pressure in production incident scenarios.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business terms.
  • Bachelor’s degree or certification is not listed.

  • Base salary of $170,000 to $215,000 USD.
  • Equity compensation, with some choice between equity and cash.
