Description

  • Shape the technical direction of complex operational technology programmes with a focus on PowerOn ADMS and its interactions across OT and IT environments.
  • Assess technical feasibility of proposed solutions and ensure alignment with PowerOn ADMS capabilities, data structures, workflows and integration patterns.
  • Analyse dependencies and constraints across OT and IT systems and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to guide design decisions.
  • Develop high-level solution options, architecture diagrams and technical artefacts required for governance, assurance and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Define integration approaches and interface specifications, advising on performance, resilience, scalability and other non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, operational SMEs, engineers and delivery partners to translate requirements into architecture-aligned designs and validate assumptions.
  • Contribute to design reviews, identify and steer risk mitigation early in the lifecycle, and ensure documentation is complete, clear and compliant.

Requirements

  • Practical and demonstrable experience working with PowerOn ADMS, including knowledge of its data structures, workflows, configuration and integration patterns.
  • Experience working within operational technology, ADMS, SCADA or other real-time system environments (highly beneficial).
  • Understanding of how operational platforms interact with wider IT architecture and integration landscapes.
  • Proven ability to produce architecture artefacts, shape solution options and support technical governance and assurance activities.
  • Ability to advise on constraints, dependencies, performance, resilience and other non-functional considerations.
  • Experience operating within regulated environments such as energy, utilities or critical national infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Analytical capability to assess technical feasibility quickly and accurately in fast-moving delivery environments.
