Description

  • Own the integrated 3-way model, including the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and rolling cash forecast.
  • Lead the quarterly reforecast process and support the 3-year strategic planning cycle, stress-testing departmental assumptions.
  • Prepare and support monthly and quarterly board packs, translating variances into clear stakeholder-ready narratives.
  • Partner with merchandising and operations to report on SKU-level profitability and the margin stack from factory to customer.
  • Monitor trading performance across Swoon and dropship partners, challenge assumptions, and coordinate actions to hit target.
  • Support buying proposal development and present proposals to the Finance Director for sign-off.
  • Work with operations to track the cost of failure and own the margin and returns improvement roadmap.
  • Build automated reporting and dashboards in Sigma, and help drive finance automation to reduce manual work.
  • Own monthly variance analysis, breaking down performance to target by volume, price, and mix.
  • Support business case appraisal for new partners and capex by reviewing ROI and recommending approve or reject decisions.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance within retail, hospitality, FMCG, or D2C.
  • Experience working in an inventory-heavy business model.
  • Currently studying toward a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • Expert-level Excel or Google Sheets skills, with financial modelling experience.
  • Experience with, or a strong desire to learn, SQL and BI tools such as Sigma.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks and bring solutions forward.
  • Confident communicating directly with senior stakeholders, including the CEO, Finance Director, and department heads.
  • Operationally minded, with an understanding of how business processes affect the P&L.
  • Able to travel to London one day per week.
